New classes this term: BellyFit, Oriental Flamenco and Cuban Salsa

The 2026–2027 term brings more ways to dance, train and discover new forms of movement. This September, three disciplines join the regular timetable at Dansa Alina Babayan: BellyFit, Oriental Flamenco and Cuban Salsa.

These are three different yet complementary options. You can choose one as your main activity or combine it as a second activity with the classes you already take at the academy.

BellyFit: fitness inspired by oriental dance

BellyFit gets the body moving through exercises and elements inspired by oriental dance. The class combines strength and muscle tone, coordination, body control, mobility and flexibility with a dynamic, musical approach.

It is an option for anyone who wants to train without separating exercise from expression and the enjoyment of dance.

The class is taught by Alina Babayan, who is registered with the Official Register of Sports Professionals of Catalonia, supporting her professional practice in physical activity and dance.

  • Tuesdays at 19:45
  • With Alina Babayan

Oriental Flamenco: strength, elegance and expression

Oriental Flamenco creates a dialogue between two richly expressive dance languages. The elegance and fluidity of oriental dance meet the strength, intention and character of flamenco.

Classes focus especially on posture, arms, hands, presence and movement quality, as well as fusion work with elements such as the fan and flamenco shawl, helping students develop a personal interpretation full of nuance.

  • Mondays at 19:45
  • With Belu Oliveira

Cuban Salsa: rhythm, coordination and connection

Cuban Salsa arrives at the academy as a lively, social way to develop rhythm, coordination, musicality and connection through movement.

A class to enjoy the energy of Cuban music, learn the foundations and become more confident and fluid on the dance floor.

  • Fridays at 20:00
  • With Eliecer Araujo

Included in every regular class plan

All three disciplines are part of the academy's regular timetable and are available with any of our regular class plans. You can choose BellyFit, Oriental Flamenco or Cuban Salsa as your first activity, or add one as a second activity if you already practise another discipline with us.

No special plan is required: you can organise your classes according to the regular option that best suits your pace.
